A Journey Back Home
This summer, we invite you to embark on a symphonic journey without borders, crossing the European continent from east to west through its most evocative melodies. A musical voyage in four major chapters, it begins in the heart of the great Russian tradition, traveling from the splendor of Tchaikovsky’s imperial court to the dynamism and youthful freshness of Glazunov and Rachmaninov. From there, we move to Central Europe to feel the pulse of its folklore, from the poetic Bohemian nostalgia of Dvořák to the fiery, passionate Gypsy temperament of Brahms’ Hungarian Dances.
Heading further west, we delve into the sophistication of French music—a section where sound transforms into pure light and refined colors through the delicacy of Fauré, the lush nocturnal romance of Augusta Holmès, and the exotic touch of Bizet. Finally, the journey brings us back home with a refined perspective, showcasing the sparkling, precocious classicism of Arriaga and the exquisite finesse of Joaquín Rodrigo, where Andalusian tradition and nostalgia are dressed in grand symphonic style.
A perfect evening to enjoy music on a path that reminds us of the thrill of discovering new horizons... and the immense joy of returning home. We look forward to seeing you there!
